Holly's Recovery Journey

Donation protected
Hello! My name is Karlee Mann and Holly is my mother-in-law.
As many of you know, on November 30th, 2022, Holly was air lifted from Grand Itasca Hospital down to the U of M, after many weeks of experiencing leg pain that gradually turned into uncontrollable pain and loss of her ability to walk. After a CT scan, it was determined that Holly had a tear in her descending aorta, and that her body had responded by creating a cascade of blood clots that cut off circulation to the lower half of her body. Holly underwent an almost 7 hour surgery to complete an aortic bypass, as well as a few smaller surgeries to help return blood flow to her legs. Holly spent a couple of weeks at the U of M, and is now at home recovering with the help her husband Ron, amazing homecare nurses and physical therapy. Holly's recovery will be at minimum 6 to 8 months until she can begin to consider returning to work, and Ron is currently staying home to take care of her full time.
I'm creating this Gofundme to take everyone along on her recovery, a place for others to leave her words of encouragement, as well as a place to leave a donation during this long recovery period.
I would like to help lessen some of the financial worries of the impending medical bills and travel expenses to the University off of their shoulders. They are humbled by the idea of this account, and words of encouragement, prayers or just lending a hand to them in any way is greatly appreciated.
