Hi there! Thanks for taking some time to read about my journey. I’m delighted to be able to share what God has been doing in my life and so grateful for all the support and encouragement I have received so far.
Over the last five years I have been battling a number of health issues. In 2014 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and have had to undergo multiple treatments and operations to try and solve it. It has been an extremely challenging time, both physically and mentally. But I am overwhelmed at the journey I have been on over the last few months as I have seen some major improvements in my health and have come to a point where I feel ready and able to step out into something very different and rather unexpected. I feel that God is in the process of fully restoring my health and as part of this, has completely redirected my life and placed a call into missions and to love those in need in my heart.
In May, I had the opportunity to visit my sister who works as a missionary in South Africa. It was a family holiday but I came back a different person, completely in love with the children and the people I had met and the work they were doing. I felt that God had given me a glimpse of His compassionate heart and I knew I couldn’t ignore it. So in October I will be starting on a mission school with Iris Ministries in South Africa. It’s an opportunity for me to be trained and equipped in missions with a view to serving long term overseas. I’m so excited about this opportunity to step out where I feel God is leading me.
For this first stage of my journey I need to fundraise a lump sum to pay for the school. Therefore I’m asking whether you would consider supporting me financially. Anything big or small is so appreciated and donations will go towards tuition fees and outreach. Thank you in advance for even reading this and for anything you feel led to give.

Earlier this year, I could not have imagined doing something like this but God has been so good to me and completely turned my life around and I am so glad I have such wonderful support going into this next season of life.
