March 18, 2019:
Howdy,
It is with great sadness that I share with you that my love, Holly, left the physical realm on Wednesday March 13 at 4:44 p.m. I was by her side as she took her last breath and she transitioned peacefully and painlessly. She is a light of life to everyone she met. We take comfort and peace knowing she is resting eternally in our Heavenly Father’s house.
Her memorial service will be Saturday, March 23 at 2:00.
Central Presbyterian Church
402 College St
Waxahachie TX 75165
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to her memorial fund at Central Presbyterian Church of Waxahachie or consider making a contribution HERE on this site, to assist the family with medical expenses and arrangements.
Thank you all for your prayers and support.
With Love,
Holly and Gus Thompson

Howdy,
I hope you are doing awesome today. My name is Gus. Thank you so much for visiting the Holly and Gus Donation Station. Unfortunately, just like many others out there, our life has been rocked to the core by the worst “ C “ word out there, cancer. My super brave and beautiful wife, and best friend just finished a long and successful battle against a very aggressive type of breast cancer HER2+. We moved to Phoenix last April for her treatment and she loved it there, she was able to heal and focus on herself and it was amazing. We both feel in love with the healing power and energy that Arizona has. We were feeling blessed to be back in Dallas and healthy again. We had been home for two months and were just settling back into a normal life again and then out of the blue… a couple long heavy headaches turn into an ER trip and a couple of weeks in the hospital, where we received the most devastating news. Holly has an aggressive form of brain cancer. She had an operation to help relieve the pressure in her brain from the tumors, which helped but it wasn’t enough. Her body is too weak for chemo or radiation and the cancer is moving too quickly, we find ourselves fighting for her life day to day. She is happy and comfortable, spending time with family and loved ones. We feel blessed to have so many people care so much for the both of us and want to do anything and everything they can to help our girl Holly.
We thought using this platform would be a good start to make it easier for those who would like to help.
Our goal is simple. We pray for two things
1. Cure for cancer please. And please hurry!
2. Any and all donations that may help with what lies ahead for us both.
Once you either solve cancer or make your donation or even both. Please have a kick ass rest of your day. You did a good thing!
Gratitude and many thanks and hugs to each of you who have been taking care of us both through this. Thank you for all the cookies Grayton! (our niece)
With Love,
