Holly's Final Journey and Recovery
Donation protected
I am opening this up for anyone who may want to help with Holly’s funeral costs or to help towards doing some sort of memorial in her name. Holly battled with addiction and I’d like the chance to bring her home. This will cover her cremation, service, and memorial. I would like to fly to Tucson directly and pick her up, as opposed to trusting the mail. Any leftover money will be donated to a recovery center in North Central Kansas in her name.
Holly Christine Chenault, “Boo”, was born on 10/31/1987 to Joel Chenault and Elizabeth Stevens. She was a tiny, beautiful baby. She was the oldest of three children (Joel and Cayla).
She spent her life making sure her family and friends felt seen and heard. Holly was kind, compassionate, and hard-headed. Her smile and laughter made everyone feel warm. She was constantly listening to music and loved finding new bands. She loved to dress up and be girly. She loved dogs and animals so much. Holly was loved by so many people because her personality was contagious and warm. Even if they hadn’t seen her in years, people still remember how special she made them feel.
Holly battled an addiction and unfortunately, we weren’t able to see her make it to the other side. So, let’s try to bring Holly home one more time. Thank you to anyone who would like to help. Thank you all for your kind words during this time.
We can’t save Holly, but we can aim to help someone else get sober. If nothing else positive comes from all this, at least we can tell her story to try to help others find the courage to change their path.
