Holly Powers Strong

This fundraiser has been established by the friends and family of Holly Shea Powers, the most kind, amazing,  selfless caring person we know.  After a year  of dealing with a shocking and  extremely difficult divorce she just found out a month ago that she  has
stage 4 colon cancer and it has spread to her liver.  She is 46 years old and is a healthy, active woman. We are hoping that through
this trying  time we can at least help raise some financial   support to help with her medical journeys that lie ahead.

I was recently diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. I can't even begin to describe the shock of my diagnosis. I had no symptoms      and no family history at all. I was just young enough to miss  regular screenings as screenings aren't recommended until age 50.  So, here I am I'll be honest, I'm scared as heck.

I've had a rough year and if I learned anything during  the past 12 months, it is the power of people. The tremendous support that I   have received  before I ever knew I had cancer was incredible.  It  made everything possible. And so with this latest turn of events    I'm again humbled beyond belief about the love and support that surrounds me. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.  Much  love to you all!

........Holly started Chemotherapy 7/28/20 at MD Anderson and has a long road ahead with lack of work, travel for
appointments, medical bills and fighting for her life.  Even the slightest contribution to help Holly in this devastating time would be appreciated beyond measure.
