Help Holly Mae recover from emergency surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Joanna and I am fundraising for Holly Mae. Holly is my sweet fur niece who is 8 years old. Holly loves to go on hikes, go on jogs with her mommy, play with her fur cousins, play with toys, napping and going on special dates with her Mom and Dad. She is the type of dog that expects to go everywhere with her parents as she goes with her dad to work almost daily (his coworker). She has always been such a big support for her parents, especially in recent years when they had to move across the country to Michigan for college. She has been more emotional support to them than they ever expected and these recent days have been a nightmare for them.
Holly recently started not feeling well, was very shaky, depressed and refused all food and water. Her parents knew they had to do something. After two opinions from vets, it was determined that she had a foreign body obstruction in her small intestine and had to undergo emergency surgery to prevent worsening of her status and septic shock. Thirty centimeters of Hollys small intestine had to be resected and she is now struggling with high blood pressure unresponsive to pain meds. She has been hospitalized for almost four days and although her parents haven’t asked for help, I know how expensive this can be. Hollys parents miss her like crazy and want her back home as soon as possible but they are not rushing this process. Please if anyone can help them out, every donation would be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to financially help, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I will update you with her health status and we are praying for a speedy recovery. Thank you.
