Holly Caintic is a medical assistant at UCSF’s Cancer Center Mission Bay at the Head & Neck Oncology Department. A few months ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and immediately had to start treatments. This is Holly’s second time around getting touched by cancer. Holly’s cancer journey began at the age of 17 when she was diagnosed with stage 3 rhabdomyosarcoma. She has overcome chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation once before and will now be undergoing the same course. She has had to pause attending college to focus on her cancer treatments before. Today, Holly will be pausing her academics in furthering her education in medicine to focus on her health once again.

Holly is originally from San Diego, where her mom and uncle have been commuting from to take turns traveling back and forth to assist Holly on her chemo days in San Francisco. While undergoing weekly chemotherapy, Holly has been continuously attending work and assisting with patients in the clinic. As treatments get tougher for Holly to endure, we hope this GoFundMe will help assist Holly in her medical bills and living expenses. Any help that can be given to alleviate the economic side of this journey while she's out of work recovering from surgery and receiving treatment will be greatly appreciated. This will help Holly focus on her fight to be CANCER FREE AGAIN!
