Help Holly and her Kids Get their Car on the Road!

Hi, I'm raising money to help my friend Holly and her four boys! One of her boys, Nate, is my son's best friend, which is how I got to know Holly. Nate is such a great kid, and I want to help him, his brothers, and his mom by helping them fix their family car.

The rural Tennessee county where they call home experiences lower incomes and greater unemployment than the national average. Like most small towns in Tennessee, public transit is not an option, and school districts are underfunded. This week Nate's school bus broke down and the school informed him that there is no alternative available until they fix it, so he cannot go to school; this is not the first time this has happened.

Holly is on disability and also relies on her car for part-time work and to get to the grocery store, church, and social services. Sometimes she has to pick Nate up early from school because he has a health condition, and also needs to pick up her other boys if they get sick at school.

Living without a car in a rural area is a profound struggle that wears you down everyday and takes away opportunities. Please consider joining me in helping Holly, Nate, and her other children get their car in working order so they can get back to the business of thriving!
