Hi, my name is Starr Manis. I am teaming up with a few friends to help a dear friend, Katie Holley, and the rest of their family fundraise for medical bills.
On Sunday evening, Katie's two boys, Kellan (8) and Tyson (12), were riding with their dad, Alonzo, when the unthinkable happened. Alonzo was headed to drop the boys off with Katie for the upcoming week when a deer ran out in front of his truck. Alonzo swerved to miss the deer when his vehicle went off the side of the road, flipping multiple times and landing in a cow pasture. Both young boys suffered severe injuries. Kellen was ejected from the truck and flown to UT Hospital with two broken femurs and multiple other broken bones and abrasions. Tyson was taken to UT via ambulance with two broken legs, a fractured wrist, and numerous abrasions. Alonzo suffered various abrasions but is healing well. Both young boys are still in the PICU at UT Hospital. Tyson will get casts on the left leg and wrist, and rods will be placed in the right leg for proper healing. Kellen is still undergoing multiple surgeries while on a vent and receiving blood, but stable.

These last few days have been terrible for Katie, Alonzo, and their whole family. And while it will be a very long road to recovery, everyone is grateful the road has started. These boys are so young and have so much life to live and games to win! We all want to ensure their recovery is as stress-free as possible. And this is one way to help!

As you can imagine, the helicopter and ambulance ride to UT, as well as countless tests, medications, surgeries, hospital stays and upcoming visits, will have a substantial financial impact on their entire family.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE consider donating, whether it's $1 or $100. Anything helps. This family is so full of life and will bring a smile to anyone they meet. Anything helps, and we are SO thankful for anyone and everyone willing to donate.
