What is This Project About?
Holistic Healers (Working title) is a student short film documentary that is our senior capstone project of our Film Production Major Degree at Sacramento State. As a crew of student-filmmakers, we are taking on a new project to explore the realm of holistic healers and psychic abilities within the Sacramento region. This documentary will investigate the line between novelty, commodity, mental health and spiritual wellness, while also exploring what it is actually like to work in this mysterious yet increasingly popular industry.
Safety Precautions:
COVID-19 poses a very unique challenge for filmmakers. We will be utilizing professional SAG COVID-19Covid-19 protocol to keep the crew and subjects safe.
Timeline:
Our purpose for this GoFundMe page is to meet our fundraising goal at least a couple weeks prior to our shooting date of April 1st.
Where will Proceeds be Going?
All donations will be used to fund camera & gear rental, talent & interviewee acquisition, PPE and most importantly food and fuel. Your support would mean the world to our team, as this documentary film is the culmination of our efforts at Sac State. We are eternally grateful and thank you for taking the time to take interest in our film.
