Black Youth Excellence Research and Leadership Academy's main mission is to empower and inspire Black artistic students to fully realize their creative potential through a holistic approach to education and personal development.

Black Youth Excellence Leadership and Research Academy is focused on providing a safe and professional environment for the modern Artist. Performing, visual, literature, psychology, and humanities are essential fields of study that help make the world go round. So it's time to shed more light on the beautiful world of Art.

These funds will go towards 3 main things:

1. Efficient and effective reading programs for Middle and High School Students through The Lion's Den Book Club ($5,500)

2. Masterclasses for college students and professionals on media arts and leadership skills ($5,500)

3. Materials, rental space, and equipment ($14,000)
