TLC Recovery House is a safe haven for 21 women who are working hard every day to stay clean and sober. As the Founder and Director, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible progress these women have made, not only in their recovery but also in becoming productive members of our community. Despite their dedication, after paying program fees, car payments, insurance, and phone bills, there is often very little left for self-care or to treat themselves to things they need or deserve. Simple items like coats, hats, gloves, hygiene products, or even clothes can be out of reach. For many, the chance to buy a small gift for their children—sometimes for the first time since getting their lives back on track—means the world. Family reunification is a core value at TLC, and the holidays are a special time for these women to reconnect and celebrate their progress.
This year, each resident has created a holiday wish list with two needs and one want. Our goal is to fulfill these wishes, providing essentials and a special treat for every woman at TLC Recovery House. Your support will help make the holidays brighter, showing these women that their hard work is recognized and that their community stands behind them. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to making this season truly special for the women and their families.
I'm asking for help with TLC Christmas for the ladies at TLC Recovery House. We are extremely grateful for all the love, kindness, and support that everyone continues to show our ladies to help provide for them. It always means so much to them and us to feel the love from our community, friends, and family. Watching these ladies' eyes light up and the smile on their faces when they open their gift is a gift in itself!
