Many people in the dog rescue world and beyond know who Armani is, whether they've met her in person or not. Her life is devoted to her daughter and to her small hospice rescue, which she runs single-handedly from the far reaches of a Santa Clara County mountaintop. She provides each of her guest dogs with peace and comfort in their final days, weeks or months. Armani goes without a lot for herself, as her heart is focused on the dogs and their quality of life. If last year is any indication, it will again be very cold and isolated up on top of that mountain ... While Armani is pouring everything she has into her love for these dogs, we would like to do the same for her, and make her holidays brighter! A main issue at her residence is heat ... propane is very expensive, even in a tiny house! We'd love to ensure she is able to keep her heat going, and not have to skimp - both for warmth and hot water for her and the pups. Any extra funds could be used for some special meals (she loves to cook for herself and her daughter) and personal items she may not have allowed herself, in favor of doing things for her canine friends.
