Why We Are On Strike

We are currently on strike because we believe patients deserve better and nurses deserve safe working conditions. Our decision was not made lightly. It comes from a place of deep commitment to patient safety, fair staffing, and the ability to continue providing the level of care our community expects and deserves.

How This Fund Will Help

During this strike, many of us are without income while still facing everyday responsibilities : rent or mortgages, utilities, childcare, food, and healthcare costs.

Funds raised will help support our nurses with:

• Basic living expenses

• Childcare and family needs

• Transportation and essential costs

• The ability to remain united and focused on advocating for safe patient care
