I never thought I’d be creating one of these, but life hit me with more than I can carry alone. I’m in a tough transition period while my home in Tennessee is under contract to be sold. Unfortunately, a difficult and unexpected personal situation a few months ago has left me carrying all financial responsibilities alone.

This unexpected personal circumstance has made it challenging to keep up with mortgage and living expenses while I await the sale to close.

I recently relocated to Illinois for my doctoral program and work at Illinois State University, a dream opportunity that I’m deeply committed to. But between relocation costs, bills, and this housing overlap, I’ve fallen behind and need short-term help to bridge the gap until the sale is complete.
