Our truest, most real sister, Livie Metsa, a jungle princess and nymph angel, has tragically slipped from a 30 foot peak on a rocky mountain in Thailand at her most favorite place in the world, the waterfall.
Livie hit multiple peaks as she fell, ultimately landing face-first into a boulder in a pond at the bottom of the canyon.
As a yoga teacher, she could assess her conditions and immediately recognized pelvic ruptures, spinal damage, rib fractures, and a concussion among other severe injuries.
Through a monsoon rainstorm and with the little strength she had left, she elevated her pelvis by engaging her upper body for hours, even into numbness and even as she felt God's light was calling her home.
To protect any further damage to her pelvis and spine, she crawled through the water and rocky terrain to dry land where she knew she could support her lower body with more stability, as well as not drown if she were to lose her focus and go into shock.
Livie moved all of her focus into her third eye/mind as she maintained an elevated L-sit position, with her legs extended in front of her and her back in a 90 degree position, pushing her body up for 6 hours as her hands went numb until aid reached her with a gurney.
Livie's beautiful friend, Sarah, did everything she could to find help in the rural, mountain-top, but it ended up taking 6 hours for aid to reach Livie... by this point, it was almost midnight.
When Livie was finally placed on the gurney, she surrendered her strength, began convulsing with her eyes rolling back, and floated into the clouds beyond her feet, experiencing painlessness and silence in the Light until the EMT team would smack her face and call her back to her body… where she would immediately begin screaming in unbearable, unfathomable pain again.
The last person who fell from this peak died, so the EMT team was not sure how to respond. The Navy, with a team of over 30 people, finally wrapped Livie in a body bag and belayed her up the mountain for another hour, dragging her wounds on branches and bouncing her fractures on rocks.
When she finally received medical attention, she learned she could not walk, stand up, or even sit up.
As a yoga teacher, dancer, and artist of the body, this revelation alone made her not want to continue this human experience.
Critical Care
Livie was transferred between two local, under-resourced hospitals with staff from the heart of the Earth; thank you all for your compassion.
At Bangkok Hospital Samui, they inserted stainless steel hardware to stabilize her hips and stitched/stapled her forehead wound. Since then she has undergone a series of procedures requiring intense levels of pain meditation and anesthesia, including daily anti-thrombosis shots into the belly and inserting a catheter into her neck because there are not enough strong blood vessels in her arms and hands.
She was airlifted to Bangkok, where she was hospitalized for four weeks. Her and her family were humbled to be in a facility more qualified for her severe, constant pain.
Although the pelvic surgery was successful, the main concern is the excruciating, unbearable pain in her lower spine, sacrum, and even a loss of function in the legs. Further examination, investigation, and undoubtedly treatment is due.
Why Donate?
Before Traveller's insurance, the airlift was $11,000 USD, the daily ICU room stay was $30,000 and the pelvic reconstruction was $21,600 USD... just some of the costs from all of the medication, equipment, and more.
We don't know long it will take to walk again, nonetheless stand. Your support could ensure Livie gets the daily care she needs.
As a yoga teacher who moves through the world through love, service, devotion, she often gives away her sellable jewelry to souls she feels it was made for free. She also tends to offer astrology readings at no charge because it's such an intuition, love-based practice.
Your energy exchange will be channeled directly into a woman who heals herself so she can heal others, and eventually open New Earth Collective, where people with complex and chronic disease join to find peace in unity through Earth and her precious gifts. The revenue of the center will generate scholarships for at-risk youth to continue education into trauma-informed yoga and fitness, Ayurveda and nutrition, and integrative medicine.
Your donation will directly cover medical bills and months of physical therapy. If, God bless and willing, your donation will also help her gift her Akashic Astrology to our world as we ascend more than humanity's consciousness, but the sentience of Gaia herself into a fifth dimensional frequency of intentional yet unconditional love.
This unexpected tragedy has placed an enormous emotional and financial burden on Livie and those who love her. Any donation, no matter the size, would make a meaningful difference in helping her heal and rebuild her life. Your compassion and support during this incredibly hard time mean more than words can express.
About Livie
If you haven't yet experienced our dear sister, Livie, the odds are you will at a music festival or ecstatic dance.
Livie followed the call of the Earth, of plant medicine, of Spirit to release all that she thought she had, knew, and was to open her reality to her manifestation of Heaven On Earth.
She studied trauma-informed Vinyasa and Hatha in Peru. She also healed with sacred plant medicine and spent many weeks intimately with a Shaman learning the language of Madre Ayahuasca as messenger of the medicine.
In Peru, she learned she came here to Earth, from Orion to the Pleiades to Lyra, to be an intuitive channel and an artist. So she made the heart breaking decision to leave CommunityHealth, a free volunteer-based clinic that serves asylum seekers and refugees at no cost to their families, and to follow the call... wherever it may journey her.
With no savings, no plan B, and no consistent income, she followed the Fool card and jumped into the Star card; within one month, nine months ago, she led a yoga workshop at a music festival then sold everything she owned and accepted Orion Healing Center 's invitation to fly across the world, in service to the collective.
Throughout the last 9 months, she has led astrology workshops and sessions, sells personalized jewerly, and teaches yoga weekly, including Tantra. She doesn't prioritize income or status in her space holding, but rather true connection, collaboration, and compassion in her ceremonial spaces for those to connect to oneself, the other, and Pachamama as a consciousness.
As a woman who cured a rare autoimmune disease through nutrition and creative movement after 8 years of pharmaceuticals, her mission, movement, message is for all sovereign, autonomous beings to call back their magic, their light, their divinity to rebuild a New Earth during this divine time on the planet.
Livie also studied Religion, Communications, and Feminism at University of Denver.
What does Livie’s story mean to you?
Updates as of July 8th, 2025
The incredible and gifted team at Bangkok International Hospital cleared Livie after 25 days in the ICU and one month in the hospital. The honorable, impressive, and forward-thinking doctors truly saved Livie’s life, dharma, and even future babies, with such compassion to even include her capacity to bear children in her care.
We cannot thank enough the open-hearted nurses who tended to Livie in her raw vulnerability with such love, and the exceptionally well-trained doctors from this facility.
They utilized holistic approaches such as ultrasound therapy and electrode shock therapy to reduce Livie’s pain to a stable condition in which she was able to sit up engaging the spine and even take her first steps with the right foot utilizing a walker and crutches. However, she is unable to be fully weight-bearing on the left side until August 8th… the sacred Lion’s Gate Portal.
The hospital cleared her for travel to return to loved ones and family in the United States for further intensive care, and she successfully arrived in Chicago where she immediately checked into the emergency room from the airport to be admitted to a hospital for stabilization.
After another week and a half in the hospital, the orthopedic and trauma specialists have approved Livie to locate to Sub-Acute Rehabilitation for at least another month in which she will be housed in a facility providing rehab and occupational therapy for 3 hours a day.
After over 40 days in the hospital, Livie is stable enough to sit in the wheelchair for up to 2 hours with a back brace as well as take approximately 12 steps with the walker. The lead physical therapist at the Chicago hospital noted she is the strongest woman he has worked with, but her main challenge in progressing to stand (and eventually walk) continues to be the physical pain.
When she is discharged from the hospital, she will also pursue neurology intervention at Mind Eye Institute to address the concussion from landing her head into a boulder. Mind Eye Institute will also support her processing of the intense PTSD that is limiting her capacity to sleep and rest throughout her recovery.
From Livie’s heart, her immediate and extended family, and those that love her, we thank you for your love, support, blessings, and prayers as we navigate many months of intensive care.
