Help my son Patrick Gorman recover from a stroke!
Patrick suffered a stroke in his right brain on May 11, 2018. The stroke affected his left side and he was unable to use his left leg to walk nor use his left arm and hand.
He was hospitalized for approximately 27 days, including the emergency room, hospital, skilled nursing facility, and an acute rehabilitation center. He is now walking short distances with a cane and a brace, longer distances require a wheelchair, and undergoing physical and occupational therapy to slowly recover the use of his leg, arm and hand.
Although Patrick was covered by medical insurance, his share of expenses is currently over $6,000 ... and we expect it will rise higher.
Patrick is a father of three young children; Landon, Lennox and Nohely. He will be off work as he recovers and unable to satisfy these financial obligations in addition to his current expenses. Decreasing the financial stress of these hospital bills will be a great benefit to his recovery!
You could also help with used furniture such as a refrigerator, washer and dryer, kitchen table and chairs, dressers, and a couch and living room furniture to furnish a place for him to live. Please email me if you can assist with any of these items.
