Hello everyone, my name is Alain, I am from Ecuador, and although my country does not offer the option to receive donations, a friend from abroad encouraged me to share our story, in the hope of finding kind hearts who can help us.
The zip code that appears belongs to my grandmother, who lives in Barcelona, Spain.

We are a family of five in Daule, Ecuador. We have always worked very hard to get ahead. We had never had a pet, mainly because my mom didn't like animals very much. She said they were mischievous and made the house dirty.

But in October 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, our lives changed completely. My mom was diagnosed with stage 2-3 cervical cancer. It was a devastating blow. The doctors told us there wasn't much they could do, but our faith in God kept us strong. With chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and brachytherapy, we fought every day by her side, even though seeing her weak and discouraged broke our hearts.

And then Boo arrived, a little Chihuahua that was given to us in the hope that he would bring some joy back to my mom and my family. At first, she didn't want to accept him, but little by little, that little dog became her reason and joy for getting up every morning.
His love, tenderness, and companionship were her therapy. And thank God, at the end of 2024, The doctors gave us the most wonderful news: the tumor had disappeared.
Boo was more than a pet... he was an angel with four paws who helped save my mom's life.

Today, Boo is almost 5 years old, and unfortunately, he is going through a very tough battle. The vets have diagnosed him with kidney failure and pancreatitis. In Ecuador, there are very few specialists in veterinary nephrology, and treatments are too expensive.
He needs to be hospitalized and receive constant medical care. We have been selling food to cover his expenses, but it is no longer enough.

Boo gave us hope when all seemed lost... and now it's our turn to fight for him, for the love and gratitude he has shown us.
With your help, we can continue to give him the chance to live and give him back a little bit of all the love he has given us.

❤️Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read our story, for sharing it, and for any help you can give us.
God bless you.
