Hokah Swimming Pool

Since 1968 the Hokah pool has been the place to learn to swim, play in the sand, make friends, make memories, and provide jobs for our community youth. The sand bottom pool is a wonderful and unique amenity, but needs improvements to ensure it is here for generations to come.
In May 2015 after a call for volunteers in this small community of just over 500 people, many individuals devoted weeks of hard labor to revitalize the spring water feed, the sand bottom, concrete walls, and bath house.
Thankfully the City continues to cover the routine expenses, but additional funding is needed for large improvements such as new concrete walls.
The committee greatly appreciates donations made thus far, including a commercial quality inflatable. We are looking forward to a fun summer and celebrating our initial success!
