Hogoè Kpessou Fashion Week Funds

Hogoe Kpessou (HK) is a black-owned brand focusing on affordable, sustainable, and ethically sourced luxury leather wear, named after its founder and owner. Hogoe spares no expense assuring each customer gets the luxury product they expect. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed, as HK received an invitation to showcase their new fall collection at the upcoming New York Fashion Week (NYFW) starting the first week of September. As a stipulation of the contract, NYFW requires a deposit to cover the event's expenses and allow the brand to grace the runway.

Through hard work, sacrifice, and active networking, HK accumulated an overall expenditure totaling $31,700, which was allocated towards developing and refining this year's product rollout. Unfortunately, Hogoe was recently notified that UPS had lost a large shipment of products, setting them back a whopping $20,000! We've filed a claim, but we are doubtful it will resolve in time for fashion week - only 11 days away. Consequently, we are hoping to raise $6,500 to cover the participation fee and ensure HK's spot on the runway.
