Hoffnung durch Phagentherapie – Hilfe bei Behandlungskosten

mein Name ist Lili, ich bin in der Ausbildung und brauche eure Unterstützung.

Seit Sommer 2024 leide ich an einer schweren bakteriellen Entzündung, die mich regelmäßig an den Rand einer Sepsis gebracht hat. In Deutschland wurde ich alle zwei Monate ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert, aber Antibiotika konnten die Ursache nicht dauerhaft bekämpfen.

Nach langem Suchen habe ich eine Alternative gefunden: die Phagentherapie in Tiflis, Georgien. Diese Behandlung ist in Deutschland und der EU bisher nicht zugelassen, dort jedoch etabliert und erfolgreich. Bereits nach einer Woche spürte ich eine deutliche Verbesserung. Ich bin endlich auf dem Weg der Besserung, und es bestehen sehr gute Chancen, dass ich nach zwei weiteren Monaten Therapie vollständig genesen bin.

Die Therapie hat mich insgesamt 8.000 € gekostet, die ich über private Kredite von drei Personen finanzieren musste. 4.500 € fielen direkt für die Klinik an (inkl. Transaktionskosten), der Rest für Flug und Aufenthalt über einen Monat.

Eine Kostenübernahme durch die Krankenkasse war leider nicht möglich. Auf telefonische Nachfrage teilte mir die TK mit, dass Behandlungen in Nicht-EU-Staaten "Eigenvergnügen" seien, selbst dann, wenn sie medizinisch notwendig und erfolgversprechend sind.

Da ich derzeit noch in der Ausbildung bin, fehlt mir jede realistische Möglichkeit, diese Schulden zeitnah zurückzuzahlen. Deshalb starte ich diese Kampagne: Nicht aus Mitleid, sondern aus Offenheit und der Hoffnung auf solidarische Unterstützung.

Jeder Beitrag hilft, um diese finanzielle Last zu stemmen und den Menschen etwas zurückzugeben, die mir diesen Behandlungsschritt ermöglicht haben.

Hope through phage therapy – Help with treatment costs

my name is Lili, I’m currently in vocational training and I’m asking for your support.

Since the summer of 2024, I’ve been suffering from a severe bacterial infection that brought me close to sepsis every few months. I was hospitalized repeatedly in Germany, but antibiotics could not solve the problem in the long term.

After a long search, I found an alternative: phage therapy in Tbilisi, Georgia. This treatment is not yet approved in Germany or the EU, but it’s well-established and effective there. After just one week, I already felt significantly better. I’m finally on the road to recovery, and there’s a very high chance that I’ll be fully cured after two more months of therapy.

The treatment came at a cost of €8,000, which I had to finance through private loans from three people. €4,500 went directly to the clinic (including transaction fees), the rest covered the flight and a month-long stay in Georgia.

Unfortunately, my health insurance (TK – Techniker Krankenkasse) refused to cover any of it. When I called them, they told me that treatments in non-EU countries are considered "personal indulgence", even if medically necessary and effective.

Since I’m still in training, I currently have no way of repaying this debt on my own. That’s why I’m launching this campaign – not to ask for pity, but to share my situation openly and seek solidarity.

Un espoir grâce aux bactériophages – Aide pour frais médicaux

je m’appelle Lili, je suis actuellement en formation professionnelle et j’ai besoin de votre soutien.

Depuis l’été 2024, je souffre d’une grave infection bactérienne, qui m’a conduit à plusieurs reprises aux portes de la septicémie. J’ai été hospitalisé(e) tous les deux mois en Allemagne, sans que les antibiotiques n’apportent une solution durable.

Après de longues recherches, j’ai trouvé une alternative : la phagothérapie à Tbilissi, en Géorgie. Ce traitement n’est pas encore autorisé en Allemagne ni dans l’UE, mais il est reconnu et efficace là-bas. Après seulement une semaine, j’ai ressenti une nette amélioration. Je suis enfin sur la voie de la guérison, et il y a de très bonnes chances que je sois complètement rétabli(e) après encore deux mois de traitement.

Cette thérapie a engendré des frais importants : 8 000 € au total, financés par des prêts privés de trois personnes. 4 500 € ont été facturés par la clinique (frais de transfert inclus), le reste correspond au vol et au séjour d’un mois sur place.

Malheureusement, ma caisse d’assurance maladie (TK – Techniker Krankenkasse) a refusé toute prise en charge. Lors d’un appel, on m’a clairement dit que les traitements hors UE relevaient du "plaisir personnel", même s’ils sont nécessaires médicalement.

Étant encore en formation, je n’ai actuellement aucun moyen de rembourser ces dettes seul(e). C’est pourquoi je lance cette campagne – non pas pour faire appel à la pitié, mais pour expliquer ma situation avec transparence et solliciter un peu de solidarité.
