Good Morning,
I am not generally one to ask for help or air family laundry, howver, it is time I do.
Our family has been through several losses over the years and on Sunday evening we went through one more. My sister in law JoAnn Hoffner Bertolucci lost her battle with many illnesses . She suffered for many years. Loosing her eyesight, being on dialysis and many other battles.
With her passing, she leaves her husband Jeffrey Hoffner and their 3 children, my nephews and niece- Joey(18- going to be a senior), Andrew (16- going to be a junior),and Kourtney(11- going to be in 6th grade).
There was no life insurance for JoAnn and all the expenses of both her illness and death has caused a huge financial crisis for our family. She was in the hospital in Mt Clemens and than moved to Owosso for Hospice care before she passed. Jeff and the kids have had to relocate and at this time are looking for a new place to call "home" and start over.
JoAnn had choose to be cremated. While this is much less than a tradional burial- it is still very costly. I am trying to help them come up with the financial needs they need to help cremate JoAnn properly, give her a nice memorial and get the kids a very nice keepsake of thier mothers ashes for the future. I also would like to make the summer enjoyable for my niece and nephew who will most likely be here with us while Jeff works and tries to relocate them so they can all be close to each other and begin to rebuild thier future.
Any help, prayers, kind word are very very much appreciated and will be used wisely and only to help this family move on.
