Hoener-Brink Talent House Fire

Hello Friends and Family. On Tuesday, 8 September 2020, my parents (Todd Hoener & Carey Brink) evacuated their home in Talent, Oregon due to a wildfire that had started north of Ashland. Unfortunately, they lost their home in that fire and we all know that even though they may have been insured there are still gaps in finances and it all will take a good amount of time to even start to think about rebuilding their lives and home. Some wonderful humans put them up in their spare bedroom in Ashland while they found a room to lodge at on the SOU campus.  My parents are not ones to ask for help. In fact, my Dad did not want me to set this up. So, I KNOW that if they are able to “just be okay”, that they will not take this help if they don’t need it and will donate it to those in need. So, either way it will go to someone in need. So many of you have reached out and have asked how you can help, so here it is. THANK YOU TO ALL YOU BEAUTIFUL HUMANS.
