Hodonin Tornado Fund
This is On behalf of Karen Mancini, VP HR Europe and RSA
On Thursday 24th June there was a deadly Tornado that ripped through through the Hodonin / Breclav districts in the Czech Republic killing five people and leaving more than 150 injured.
“Winds of at least 219km/h (136mph) were recorded and the worst hit area were said to look like a war zone. “It’s a living hell” said South Moravia regional governor Jan Grolich”
We are pleased to let you know that luckily “only” one of our employees was injured, and after treatment in hospital he is now safely home.
We do however have about 10 employees whose family home or apartment were damaged by the Tornado and will need financial support to rebuild their homes. For this reason we have started a go-fund-me-page to collect money to support these families. Anything you can give, will help.
The money you raise will be shared across all the employees affected and how this is done will be shared with all IAC colleagues.
As colleagues of Hodonin we are sending all our thoughts to you!
Thank you for your support!
