Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 the Hodge Family’s home was consumed by an aggressive home fire, that started in their attic and was quickly fueled by the valley heat and strong winds. CAL Fire was able to respond quickly to fight the fire, but sadly they were unable to save the house. They lost all of their personal belongings and 27 years of memories. Thankfully none of the family members were home at the time of the fire, but the only personal items they currently have are the clothes they were wearing that day. Many wonderful friends and family have rallied behind the Hodges and have asked how they can help during this time. The family is extremely thankful for their community, but they are overwhelmed and thinking of how to move forward. This GoFundMe was started to help the Hodge family begin to pick up the pieces of their life, and help provide some relief while they navigate their lives and take the next necessary steps to rebuild. They are currently in a hotel, but are hoping to find a somewhere else to call home while they figure out the next steps.

I know I can speak on the Hodge’s behalf when I say that any donations are greatly appreciated during this uncertain time. They hope to replace their daily necessities at a minimum and make their lives a little more comfortable while they are displaced.

As many of you know and have experienced the Hodge family is a family that is always willing to lend a helping hand and help those in need. It is now the community’s turn to return the favor, and help give back to such a wonderful family.
