This morning (6/15/20) I took my best friend Hobbson to the hospital for irregular breathing. After an x-ray and some tests they said he had a fever and found fluid around the outside of the lungs. Additionally, they found an irregular tissue mass inside his lungs. The Vet wants to conduct further testing to figure out the fluid and the tissue mass that is causing his inability to breath. I need the immediate funding to cover the expenses already incurred and the estimate given by the Vet for further analysis. He's only 4 years old and healthy except for this, he has so much life left I just need help.
I rescued Hobbson, a 2 year old Great/Dane American Pointer from Craigslist after my Freshman year in college. The past two years with him he has been my best friend, my roommate, my adventure buddy, and the best dog in the whole world. Hobbs has helped me through some tough times while being away from my family but he makes me feel like we are a family ourselves. For anyone that has met Hobbson knows how rad of a dog he is and it would be such a tragedy to not have him romp around on the University of Alabama quad one last time his senior year. Being a college student and unable to work because of the pandemic, I don't have nearly enough funds to cover all the cost. I'm asking for emergency funding to please help my buddy make it through and come back to Bama one last time with me. He's such a young boy with so much life left and I know him and I would have the best life after college. Anything will help, I just want to be able to see Hobbson my dog-son again.
