Hobbit Hill ( DEREK)

Hello,
A  dear friend recommended this site to me. We,re in one of those situations that we always think happens to other people, never ourselves........right?
    Well........here we are, and here am I om my husbands, behalf. Some of you know him as DIGGER. 


        We need your help to get Derek medical care and treatments out of town.......to save his life.

Derek was diagnosed with Invasive Melanoma, Prostate ( stage 2) cancer,, and his right leg has been paralyzed for over 1 year now. He has now been referred to Kelowna for his care.

The work begins for him, and the costs are coming in. I,m on CPP disability for a variety of reasons, and Derek has only his Disability as well.

We both grew up in this area from birth.

Derek John MacDermid, (my husband for 30 years), Son of John and Betty MacDermid from Fruitvale, BC. Father of 4 kids, and 13 Grandkids. .......needs your help for MEDICAL CARE. Some of his treatments are not covered by our medical plan.

I will keep all of you posted, and frequently in the loop every step of the way. What we know.........you,ll know.........,appropriately, with respect of course.
   Derek starts with the Kelowna Cancer Clinic the first week of December.

 

      Prayers are greatly appreciated as well. Grace and strength will be needed to climb THIS HOBBIT HILL.
