Thank you for taking the time to check out my page and see what I'm up to.
As you may or may not know, I am studying to become a Chiropractor at Life Chiropractic College West in Haward, CA (near San Francisco). With the struggles of being away from my home and family and the extra burden of non-stop studying and training, I am happy to report that everything is going well in my fourth quarter and my learning and progression only continues to grow each and everyday. Healthcare has always been my passion and I can honestly say that I've found my life's career calling as a future healthcare provider as a Chiropractor.

What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is the science, art and philosophy of detecting and removing vertebral subluxations (vertebral nerve interference). Chiropractic concerns itself with the relationship between structure, primarily the spine, and the nervous system which serves to control, coordinate and vivify the organs and processes of the body as that relationship affects the restoration and preservation of HEALTH. Implicit in that relationship are the concepts of subluxation, interference to the functioning of the nervous system and its correction or removal by a chiropractic adjustment. If there is an interference in the transmission of these messages someone will not be able to function at their highest potential, which can impact physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. My future career will be to help restore the brain-body connection to my patients in order to facilitate healing and improved nervous system communication.

On September 23, 2016, I will embark on a six-day mission trip to Ounaminthe, Haiti with 10 of my fellow chiropractic classmates/friends/colleagues. Our group of highly committed and focused individuals will spend six full days in local communities checking and adjusting its residents. We will accompany and operate under Dr. Peter Morgan, who is the founder and Executive Director of Mission Life International and has been bringing chiropractic to areas such as Haiti and the Dominican Republic since 2002. You can learn more about the organization here.

The ultimate goal is to serve the people and why do I need your help? In order to make this trip a reality it is going to require money. My goal of $2,000 will cover all potential expenses...flights, food, ground transportation and lodging (6 days). Food and proper hydration is especially important given the conditions and volume of people we will serve.
From the Heart: Thank you again for taking the time to learn about chiropractic and what I have to offer in this amazing profession. Asking family and friends for financial support is not an easy request for me to make. But if you feel it within yourself to support this cause I am fully committed and ready to represent you and myself in Haiti. Your contribution translates to a feeling of appreciation that goes beyond words and it inspires me to go above and beyond new levels of personal growth and service. Thank you and much love and Aloha!
