Colorado or bust!

My name is Nathan Reeves. I'm an electronics technician in Oregon but I was originally from Iowa. I had come out here helping my friends moving which turned into me moving in with them. Things started out well until the west coast became a nightmare to live in thanks to cost of living and the crime rate skyrocketing. My girlfriend Charisma and my roommate Visia have been wanting to collectively move out of here to Colorado for better opportunities and to get away from the chaos. We have friends down in the Fort Collins area willing to help us out, we just need to get there.

We have 3 cars and two of them(mine included) desperately have been held off and been needing some TLC. My old Bronco that I have had for 5 years desperately needs work done to her due to not wanting to start sometimes and the mechanic shops out here charge a arm and a leg and both kidneys, and I lack the tools to get her fixed up thanks to my parent's garage burning down in January 2022 with all my stuff. She is a good truck, I just currently lack the resources to get her going reliably again.

My truck is one of the reasons why we are setting up this Gofundme, the rest of the funding is going to go towards renting Uhaul vehicles and to secure hopefully a few months or more of rent for the new place. If there's anything that anyone can contribute to this, you will be a lifesaver! We've been trying to get on our feet since 2022, and are slowly getting to a steady financial point. In-between that, life has thrown down a lot of unexpected and heavy expenses, so it's been very hard to save up anything.

Our goals are:

1. Save enough funding to fix my truck, moving expenses, and securing deposits for our new location and a few months of rent to give us time to seek employment. Also to pay off some debt that we owe to some friends that helped us to survive out here.

2. Move to Colorado where we will be able to start fresh and get a second chance.

Calculated costs are:

$2000 for the U-haul rentals and towing trailer for a one way trip

$3000-$8000 for vehicle repairs

$500 for fuel for our three vehicles and the U-haul Truck

+$10,000 for new location rentals and deposits
