Treatment and Medical Costs for Dawn Bishop

Donation protected
For the 20 years she has been at Chocachatti, Dawn has been a dedicated staff member and teacher. She has spent countless hours before and after school, and during the summer and winter breaks preparing for the school days to come. She has been there when students needed extra help or just for someone to talk too. Dawn loves her job more than anyone we know and does it for the joy of impacting each and every child that walks through her classroom door.

Recently, she has become very sick with a disease that has restricted her to a hospital bed for the past several weeks. This disease is something that cannot be cured but managed with expensive treatments and medicine. This medicine is something that is used specifically for those who have this rare disease and the cost is something we have all come to worry about. In addition to the cost of the treatment, it also worries us, as her children, about her quality of life in relation to her being able to work again, but making sure that she is taken care of in all aspects is our number one concern.

As her children, we love our mother with all our hearts and hate to see her go through something like this. This has been extremely hard for all of us and our top priority is to be there for our mother. Any time donated to her so that her insurance through the school could continue to support her being sick would be greatly appreciated. Funds donated would be placed toward costs involving transportation, medications, appointments, and anything else she needs that is related to her situation.

Sincerely,

            Samantha, Steve, and Scott
