Hi! I’m Brandi. I’m a single mom of 2 amazing kids - Alexis is 8 and Lincoln will be 6 in January. From 2019-2021 I worked hard to repair my credit after I stupidly let an abusive ex ruin it (I don’t mean the father of my kids). I managed to get to a point where I could buy a house for me and the kids. The first couple of years, I did really well. After my bank account was compromised, however, I struggled to bounce back. The cost of living has been eating me (and everyone else) alive, not to mention car repairs, kids activities, medical bills, etc. Long story kind of short, I fell behind on my mortgage. I was able to get assistance once, but that’s all the state will help is one time.

I work full-time, I don’t qualify for Medicaid for myself, or food stamps. My lender denied loan modification except for lowering my payment $10 a month. I know if I can get this caught up, I’ll work hard never to be in this position again. I don’t want to lose our first home.
