In loving memory of David Palmer

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Desiree. David Palmer is my uncle and godfather. Everyone adored him. I have always admired his positive attitude, hard work, humor, and perseverance. On April 11, 2024 he died of complications following a heart attack. He holds a special place in my heart and I miss him terribly. Read his obituary here.

David graduated from Marlborough (Mass) High School and married his high school sweetheart, Denise, the love of his life. They built a home in Vermont and he ran a successful flooring business for many years. We have many great family memories of spending time at their home, riding their ATVs and skiing. After a tragic motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed, they adopted and raised 3 children. After a few challenging seasons, they moved to Cape Cod where they build a beautiful home that was fully wheelchair accessible. David was diagnosed with leukemia and dealt with many health challenges. His hard work and generous nature never waivered, he supported the handicapped community and encouraged others to never give up. He joined the Cape Cod Curling Club in Falmouth, working up to be on the US Olympic Curling Team competing in the 2014 Paralympics in Sochi Russia. He and Denise built an accessible home for them to retire at in Punta Gorda, FL. He worked as a Kitchen Designer at Home Depot where he won several awards. Approximately 3 years ago, David and Denise became guardians of their 2 young grandchildren, whom they cherish. David was an organ donor, even in death he wanted to give to others in need.

Why is support needed? Denise needs your help to cover expenses associated with David's death and support herself and family. Her income is not enough to cover the mortgage, manage household expenses, and raise 2 young children. Your support will help her and the grandkids stay in their home. Any amount is greatly appreciated, thank you.
