My Mom is the strongest person I know. She has always endured the many tragedies our family has experienced through the years and never once asked for help...so I'm going to do it for her. Less than two years after losing her business to Hurricane Matthew and as we approach a year after losing my Dad, tragedy has struck again. The video in this post pictures my Mom's business (TBL Environmental Laboratory in Lumberton, North Carolina) under nearly two feet of water from Hurricane Florence. The damage is heartbreaking...
In 2016 after Matthew, it took months and tens of thousands of dollars to get the business up and running again. As she finds herself in the same spot today, my goal is to try and raise as much money as I can to help her rebuild and give her the hope, love, and support that she so desperately needs during this time.
