Hello! This is Melissa and Hunter. We have some unfortunate news about our baby Leia. Our sweet fur missile tore her ACL and now she can’t enjoy running around and playing with her favorite toy (aka her ball). This was all very sudden and she’s only 2 years old. Her doctor told us that she has early hip dysplasia as well & that favoring on one leg for too long can cause severe long term damage with the risk of also tearing her other ACL. If you don’t know Leia, she LOVES to play and run as fast as possible and this surgery will allow her to do all of that again. She’s our family & we love her sooooo much. We have a long way to go with expenses, surgery, and recovery but absolutely ANYTHING HELPS! Our goal is set to $4,500 but in all honesty we are looking at a total of $5,800 for full surgery costs. Again, if you can help that would mean so much to us but most importantly to her. Thank you
