My name is Chavon and my husband, Denton, and I are coming before you asking for your support as members of our village.

On Tuesday, Hurricane Melissa tore through my husband’s community in Montego Bay, Jamaica: leaving my nieces and nephews displaced and their parents struggling to meet their most basic needs. Their homes were completely destroyed, and they now have limited access to clean water, electricity and safe shelter.

We are doing everything we can to support them with limited resources, but they are in urgent need of essentials — food, water, clothing, toiletries, school supplies, and stable housing. Every dollar will go directly toward helping them get back on their feet, ensuring they have what they need to stay safe, clean, and continue their education despite the challenges they face.
