On Monday, April 17, 2023, Trevor went to the emergency department with what we thought were extremely bad cluster headaches. Testing revealed that the cause was actually a primary brain tumor, meaning the growth is originated in his brain and not another part of his body. He was admitted to OHSU hospital and on Thursday had successful brain surgery.

The surgeon removed 95% of the tumor. The rest will likely be addressed through radiation and chemotherapy, but we don’t have the specific details of that treatment plan yet. Trevor woke up from surgery and was joking around and listening to music within a couple hours. In the coming days and weeks, we will learn more about Trevor’s condition and what the future holds. The outpouring of love and support for Trevor and his family has been truly touching, and is keeping him in high spirits.
