Katie is a wonderful wife and mom to 5. She has been battling many years with mental illness. Dealing with a major medical issue has been hard, but she hasn’t quit when many would have. Doctors, psychologists and  health care providers have provided her with the necessary opportunity and Katie will be receiving treatment at Homewood Health Center in  Gurlph, Ontario. OHIP covers the treatments, however you must stay at their facilities in order to receive the treatments but the cost of staying there is not covered. Her length of stay is going to be 90 days.

She does not have extended health benefits and this is our best option for treatment based on multiple medical opinions. She has now started treatments and will hopefully be able to live the life she deserves.  Any contributions are greatly appreciated and if all goes as planned, we intend to pay back as much as possible down the road.

Mental illness is not a choice, it is a tough process to work through.
