My mom was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 HER2-positive breast cancer, and our family’s world has been turned upside down.

Writing this is incredibly hard because to me, she is not just my mom — she is our safe place, our strength, and the person who has always carried so much for everyone around her without ever asking for anything in return.

She is a hardworking hair stylist, a devoted single mother, and the kind of person who has spent her life making other people feel beautiful, confident, cared for, and loved. She has always put her children first in everything she does. As her oldest daughter, I have seen firsthand how much of herself she has given to our family, her clients, and everyone lucky enough to know her. She is one of the strongest, most selfless women I know.

Now she is facing the hardest battle of her life.

As she begins chemotherapy, she will be unable to work and earn an income during treatment. For someone who has always worked so hard to provide for her children on her own, this is an overwhelming burden on top of the physical, emotional, and mental toll cancer is already taking on her.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help ease some of that weight

to support her with medical expenses, household bills, and daily living costs, so she can focus on what matters most right now: healing, resting, and being there for her children.

More than anything, I want my mom to feel surrounded by love and supported during this time. She has spent her whole life taking care of others, and now it is our turn to take care of her.
