My sister Marcia,better known as Martie, is a fighter. She has battled colon cancer and won!!  She is a pediatric nurse, a mom, a daughter, and my sister.
It seems like there has always been a battle she has had to fight.  Cancer is an expensive fight, even with insurance, and it left her family always struggling to get caught up. Tonight she got a call at work saying her home was gone, burned to the ground, 3 dogs and 1 cat lost.  I am pleading with you to give to her family this Holiday Season.  If you planned to donate to charity, I ask that you make this your cause. They lost everything, pets, clothes, baby photos, family quilts, a lifetime of memories they had made as a family.  Please give what you can, or may have donated to another organization to help them get back on their feet.
