Help me escape
So heres the situation, i have a 5 year old and ive been stuck in a place that has been dangerous for years and have hid that information from my daughter and other adults the entire time just because its the only place i could live. Yes i have spoken to womens shelters and other such "public help" but those are extremely limited in my area as well as time constrained to 2 weeks, and those are just the ones who work with single mothers, most wont work with you at all if you have children. And yes i have called the police before but they always tell me theres nothing they can do accept tell me and my kid to leave.
Im tired of explaining away bruises or why we suddenly have to leave in the middle of the day or why we never have money. I need to leave the state all together. The only way to do this is to buy a car, even a beat up one. But every time i come into money, it is taken from me so i never get ahead. My goal is to raise money for transportation here and as soon as i meet the goal, get the car and escape that day.
Im sick of the drug addicts, im sick of trying to explain away the weird smells, im sick of the bruises, im sick of lying to my kid and fearing for her future. Please help us?
