HMWCC fundraiser for The Brain Charity

Throughout the month of March some members of Hemsworth MWCC will be aiming to run 100km each in aid of The Brain Charity.

 

The Brain Charity is an organisation that is close to the heart of several of our members, after losing loved ones close to the club recently, and the work they do to support those diagnosed with Brain Injuries and Tumours is incredible. Also the support does not just stop there, they also support families who have lost loved ones, and this support is just as vital for those who have to live with the pain of a missing loved one.

 

As some of you will know, cricket players are generally not built to run long distances, and those from HMWCC are no different, so of the lads have never run more than a couple of K’s to the bookies and pub, so March will test their resolve and bodies to the maximum.

 

We ask you to please support us in any way you can, as we know that The Brain Charity would cherish every single pound raised, especially given the times we live in where funding for charities is at an all-time low.
