Jim's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Many of you may know that Jim is in a fight to save his foot. He has a blood clotting disorder (Factor V), which has him on blood thinners for the rest of his life, and is diabetic on top of that. He had a blister appear on his foot that has led him in a downward spiral with infection setting in the bone and ulcers appearing on his foot. The wounds are not easy to heal due to being diabetic. The doctors have him off work until August (but will likely be much longer), and he's not allowed to drive or walk.
He has a wound vac that is being charged daily and not fully covered by insurance, weekly visits to the wound clinic, home health care coming in three times per week, and now is being referred to an oxygen hyperbaric chamber. The expenses are insane and may not be covered by his insurance. The recommended oxygen therapy comes at a price tag of $20,000 for 13 visits, and he is being recommended for 30 visits.
Jim has been the first to jump in to volunteer his time helping others when they've needed help paying for funeral expenses, cancer treatments, medical expenses, and so much more. He never asks for help, and wouldn't now if it wasn't absolutely necessary. The expenses he is facing are more than his family can manage alone. Every donation, no matter the size, will greatly help with the care he needs. If you cannot donate, keeping him in your thoughts will mean more than words can express and will be greatly appreciated.
