HMHS Marching Band

The HMHS Marching Band has launched a campaign to fund the acquisition and maintenance of instruments, equipment, and uniforms. The need is substantial -- many of the marching instruments owned by the school are decades old, as are uniforms. Musical arrangements, show design, and props are an annual expense that places a disproportionate burden on small bands, and the lack of marching instruments limits participation. Parent fees cover most routine expenses, but the need to replace or repair equipment for the long term is beyond the scope of what can be accomplished by current members, so the Band Boosters are reaching out to the community for support.

Contributions can be made directly to GoFundMe via the link below. Alternatively, Board members are happy to work with individuals willing to sponsor the purchase of specific instruments or equipment, such as a marching vibraphone ($2,000); 5-piece marching tenor drums and holster ($1,500); sousaphone ($1,000); cymbals ($200); flag silks ($300) (approximate prices for good used equipment).

Contributions of $500 or more will be recognized individually in the 2023-2024 HMHS band concert program and the 2024-2025 HMHS football program.
