Many people have asked how they can help the Phillips Family through its current tough time. James has been fighting a bone infection since October. He has had six surgeries during that time, having toes amputated originally and two weeks ago (Feb. 17) having his left leg below the knee amputated. James also had his position at work eliminated on Feb. 14, as he was continuing to fight the infection.

The family faces an unsure road as James focuses on trying to finally get healthy, not knowing how much medical bills will be, not knowing if James will have insurance after the month of March. Medical equipment expenses have already started. Normal bills and mortgage payments will continue to come in, and the family also needs a vehicle because James had a company car.

If you feel compelled to help, it will be appreciated more than you know. James has spent his life serving others and has been overwhelmed and will continue to be by the support he has received from family, friends and the community as a whole.
