Help Michelle, Garth, and Isabella Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire

Hello, My name is Nicole Hamilton and I'm a friend of Michelle's. After learning about this tragedy, I offered to help set up a GoFundMe for the family in this time of need. Lets rally around this amazing family and help them recover from the unimaginable.

On June 20, 2025, Michelle, Garth, and Isabella experienced an unimaginable tragedy when a fire destroyed their home and took everything they owned. In just moments, their entire life was turned upside down. With it went the stability, comfort, and personal belongings they’ve spent years building together.

The fire started in the kitchen, but the cause is still unknown. What is known is that it left behind total devastation. Clothing, furniture, daily essentials, laptops, family keepsakes, and everything else they depended on are gone. Their home is a complete loss.

But the most heartbreaking part of this tragedy was the loss of their beloved dog, Piper. Piper wasn’t just a pet. She was family. Her presence filled their home with joy, calm, and unconditional love. Losing her has been deeply painful, and the grief is heavy.

Right now, Michelle and her family are staying temporarily at a local hotel, but they’ll need a longer-term housing solution very soon. They are without clothing, household basics, and financial stability. Michelle had just started a new job and is now unable to work. Garth is using his paid time off to help manage everything. The impact on their income, combined with the sudden costs of starting over, is overwhelming.

Although they have insurance, it will barely begin to cover what was lost. This fundraiser is a way to help them begin the slow process of rebuilding, not only their home but their lives.

The funds raised here will go directly to the family to support:

Temporary housing and basic living expenses

Replacement of clothing, school and work supplies, and daily necessities

Support during lost income while they navigate recovery

Beginning the long road of rebuilding their home

Their goal is $70,000, which reflects a portion of the real costs they’re facing. Not just immediate needs, but the path ahead.

If you're able to give, your generosity will help lift some of the burden they're carrying. If you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing this page means a great deal.

From Michelle, Garth, and Isabella:

We never imagined we would be writing something like this. On June 20, 2025, our home was devastated by a fire that took everything we owned. In a matter of moments, a lifetime of memories, belongings, and stability was reduced to ashes.

But the most heartbreaking loss of all was our beloved dog, Piper. She wasn’t just a pet—she was family. She brought joy, comfort, and unconditional love to our lives every single day. Losing her has left an ache in our hearts that words can’t fully express.

Right now, we’re trying to find the strength to take the first steps toward rebuilding—not just a home, but our lives. We’ve lost all of our clothes, furniture, keepsakes, and the everyday items that made our home feel like a sanctuary. Starting over is overwhelming, and humbling, and we’re turning to our community for help.

If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it will go directly toward essentials like temporary shelter, clothing, food, and helping us begin to rebuild our home. If you’re not in a position to give, sharing this page means the world to us too.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Thank you for your love, your kindness, and for helping us find hope again during the most painful and uncertain chapter of our lives.
