Hello all. Update; the borders are still closed so they cannot leave, but funds are going towards food and basic living costs while Mohamed and his family are displaced. They live in a tent with their now two children.

Help Mohamed and his daughter and wife leave P*lestine and achieve a better life. As many of you know, the situation there has been dire for a very long time. I have known Mohamed and his family for 6 years now, since before his daughter was born. Things have always been difficult, but he managed to get by with his teaching career for awhile. Things took a turn for the worse a year ago, and while they had hoped to stay there, they have no choice but to leave. They are living in a tent in a very dangerous situation, his wife is pregnant, and winter is approaching soon. They have decided that it is best for them to try to raise funds to leave and go to Egypt or another country where their children might have a safe life. It costs 6,000 per person to leave the country at the moment, this website takes a chunk of that, and western union, the method we will have to use to send it, also takes a chunk of it, so we are trying to raise enough to accommodate that and anything extra will go towards making their journey a bit easier as they will need a place to stay and food while Mohamed tries to find other work options. Please help my very dear friends, they are family to me and they deserve a chance at living safely and seeing their children grow up.
