Help for Home Repairs after Break In

Thank you for taking the time to read this, it saddens me to make such a post. My family has experienced a break-in at our new home. The house sat untouched for a year prior to us purchasing it with dreams of upgrading our quality of living to something better. A simple quiet life was our dream and hope through this hard year.

At the end of October this year, the break-in occurred and the house was destroyed inside. Walls were torn down, cabinets pulled apart, windows broken, and electrical sockets pulled from walls. Cosmetic damage arguably but our insurance claim was declined.

Despite having utilities and insurance for the house, because we were still moving in - our claim was denied. We struggled to get a large loan with a house that required almost no work upon moving in beyond a coat of paint and cleaning. My family has struggled for years to get to a point where we could live comfortably and enjoy our days feeling like normal people.

That was ruined. Any kindness given would be appreciated, we've struggled and we will keep struggling to get to that dream.
