Please help lay our mom to rest

Our hearts are broken at the loss of our mom. Loving, full of life, and sincere, our mother will be missed. Thank you all for your outpouring of love and support. Our mom worked at Expedia for 16 years as a travel agent. The pandemic took a significant toll on the travel industry, and unfortunately, her department closed. To make matters even more difficult, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma before her employment ended. As a result, she lost her life insurance, and we could not secure a new policy.

We rejoiced together in July 2021 when her doctors told her she was in 100% remission. Mom was looking forward to a new life, making memories with her partner Nicole, friends and family, but above all, her grandkids. Sadly, Covid-19 would interrupt these plans and ultimately lead to her passing. Our mom was fully vaccinated, but with a weakened immune system from chemotherapy, it was too much for her to endure.
