HLCS Junior-Senior Field Trip Fundraiser

After a year of nearby wildfires, snowstorms, and COVID-19 restrictions, the upperclassmen of Hume Lake Charter School are excited to embark on a ten-day school field trip to Florida this spring. We believe education involves not just learning inside the classroom, but also outside, which is why we believe school field trips are an effective and enjoyable way to educate students. The Hume Lake Charter Associate Student Body is raising money for students attending this field trip, and any donation will help make an impact. 

During our field trip, we will be traveling to Orlando, Florida, where we will:
- Snorkel with manatees
- Go on an Airboat tour of the Central Florida Everglades
- Tour the Orlando Museum of Art
- Visit the beach
- Tour the Military History Museum
- Visit Disney World!
- Attend an NBA basketball game
- Go mini golfing
- And other activities.

We are incredibly excited for this field trip, but we need your help! Your contributions will help lower the out-of-pocket costs for students and make it possible for every student to attend. Your donations will go toward the costs of educational activities, our Airbnb, flight tickets, car rentals, and food. If we reach our fundraising goal of $1,500, then we will be able to lower the out-of-pocket cost for each student by $100 each. We will be working hard to fundraise in whatever ways we can, but because our community is so small, there is only so much fundraising we can do within the Hume Community. As a result, we are looking for outside beneficiaries who care about our students. Your donations will benefit not only the HLCS Juniors and Seniors, but also parents, teachers, and the community as a whole.

This field trip will be taking place April 5th-April 14th, so our fundraising deadline is April 5th.
