Hi! I am starting this fundraiser to raise money needed for top surgery.

The amount seems like a lot. And it is! Which is why I need help from friends. This will help with funds for surgery fees for the surgery itself, and for recovery and medical supplies afterwards.

Unfortunately, while my surgeon is fantastic, she's out of network with my health insurance so the cost of the surgery has to be paid up front. While my insurance may reimburse some of the fees for anesthesiologists, etc, we still have to come up with money out of pocket.

The reason I'm pursuing top surgery is that it will help me to feel more me in my body. While I'm non binary and don't plan on transitioning to "the other gender," this is still a transition of sorts for me, and any amount you can give helps towards that.
